Move to start. Start to change.

About

There's a gap that doesn't get talked about enough in ADHD support.

It's not the gap between not knowing and knowing. Most adults with ADHD know exactly what they need to do (... get to work on time, open the bill, reply to the message, start the thing …). The gap is between knowing and actually beginning.

That gap is what I've spent my career studying, and it's what this work is built to close.

As an occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience and advanced ADHD certifications, I have observed, again and again, the moment when a young person started to want to change their own life but couldn't find the on-ramp to actually do it. And while the desire to act continued to increase into adulthood, getting started remained elusive.

That on-ramp, I've come to understand, is movement.

Not exercise. Not a fitness program. Natural movement — a walk, a transition, a shift in physical state — used deliberately as a tool to lower the neurological threshold between intention and action. I've maintained my own movement practice for 30 years, not as a professional athlete but as a real adult navigating a real life. I know what it actually takes to sustain it.

This coaching is not therapy. It draws on everything I know clinically, but it lives in the space between what your clinician understands and what your daily life requires — the space where doing finally catches up to knowing.

Background & training  I'm an occupational therapist with 20 years of clinical experience, advanced ADHD certifications, and 14 years of direct work with young adults at exactly the moment they begin wanting to change. My work is informed by strengths-based, neuro-affirming practices and real-world performance design.

Scope of practice  Coaching is future-focused and skill-based. I don't diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions. This work is not occupational therapy. If therapy or clinical care is needed, I'll help you connect to the right providers while we continue coaching on performance and strategic systems.
